1. All programs will be needed to be re-installed on your new system.

2. All files on the CD/DVD are "Read Only", attributes must be changed before you can use it on your new system (unchecked the "read only" box in file properties of each file).

3. Place the CD or DVD in the CD/DVD-ROM.

4. Double click on "My Computer" icon. You should see an icon for the CD/DVD-ROM drive.

5. Double click on icon for the CD/DVD-ROM drive, check and verify the files or folders that you need.

6. Create a folder on the Hard drive that you want to copy your recovered data files or folders to.

7. Select all the files/folders and drag the files/folders from the CD/DVD to the folder on the Hard drive by using your mouse.

8. Now, all the selected files have been copied to hard drive, the "Read-Only" attribute needs to be unchecked. Selected all the files/folder, then right click the mouse to bring up the properties. Uncheck the "Read-Only" attribute checkbox.

9. Done, your data are ready to use.
